The City of Kelowna has now expanded the runway of its International Airport, ready to accommodate direct flights from Europe and Australia. Flights are currently via Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.
What makes Kelowna so popular with Canadians? It has four seasons, is situated on a lake approximately 70 miles long, and is within Canada’s wine and fruit growing region. There are over 50 golf courses in the area and two ski resorts - Big White and Silver Star, within one hour drive of town.
